Julia is a Physiotherapy Resident and a recent graduate of the University of Toronto’s Master of Science in Physical Therapy program. Prior to physiotherapy school, she earned an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Science, both from Queen’s University. During her time at Queen’s, she was a member of the Women’s Varsity Basketball Team and completed a certificate in Disability and Physical Activity. These experiences strengthened Julia’s appreciation for movement and inclusive fitness, ultimately motivating her to pursue a career as a physiotherapist.
Julia’s clinical training has taken her across several clinics and hospitals in Toronto, where she supported patients through some of their most challenging recoveries. She also has extensive experience developing exercise programs for adults with mobility impairments and developmental disabilities. Julia’s academic and clinical experiences have shaped her belief that movement and mobility are true gifts. She takes an individualized approach to care, tailoring exercise, hands-on treatment, and education to help each patient feel better, supported, and confident in their body.
Outside the clinic, you can find Julia in a hot Pilates class, watching a hockey game, or cuddling her cat, Furry.
