Michelle has been in healthcare for over 15 years, beginning first as a kinesiologist then becoming a physiotherapist. She has taken many extra courses to provide more assessment and treatment options for her patients and has received advanced certifications as both an FCAMPT (Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists) and her Diploma in Canine Rehabilitation. She likes to treat with an evidence informed approach and uses a multi-modal approach (education, exercise prescription, manual therapy, and modalities such as acupuncture or shockwave therapy, for example). Michelle also has experience treating special populations (i.e., concussions, runners, and post-operative individuals), and has experience with individuals of all ages and athletic backgrounds (including elite athletes, those in performing arts, recreational athletes, and sedentary individuals). It is her belief that a team approach is the best approach. She looks forward to helping you and your friends/family get back to feeling and moving well again.
When Michelle is not at the clinic, she enjoys running and spending time with her children and dog. She is caring, kind and passionate.
